Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Support children during activities such as playtime, meals, naps, and educational exercises to ensure their safety and engagement.
- Help supervise children both indoors and outdoors, maintaining a safe and clean environment at all times.
- Provide personalized care to children with special needs or disabilities, following individualized education plans (IEPs) and care routines.
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and assisting with behavior management strategies.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and daily activities.
- Assist with classroom organization, including preparing materials, cleaning up after activities, and ensuring supplies are stocked.
Skills
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or nannying settings.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Ability to provide first aid and respond effectively to emergencies or minor injuries.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and children.

Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
