Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Solutions Engineer based in Memphis, TN. The Solutions Engineer will collaborate with clients to deliver high-quality technology solutions, including software development, integration, and implementation. Responsibilities include working closely with sales teams for presales activities, developing custom solutions to meet client needs, and providing expert consulting on IT installations and system upgrades. The role demands an agile approach to solve technical challenges and drive customer success.
Essential Functions
- Perform Microsoft 365 readiness assessments and provide actionable recommendations
- Design, configure, and deploy Microsoft 365 solutions (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID)
- Implement identity and access management controls (MFA, Conditional Access)
- Support client migrations, system deployments, and environment optimization
- Implement and support cybersecurity tools (Microsoft Defender, Purview, Intune) across Microsoft and non-Microsoft environments
- Identify system vulnerabilities and assist in remediation efforts
- Support compliance initiatives (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, CMMC)
- Assist with deployment and adoption of Microsoft AI tools (Copilot, Power Platform, Azure AI)
- Provide Tier II escalation support and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues and improve service delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, solutions, and changes
- Support project tracking by updating statuses, timelines, and deliverables
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain solutions and provide updates
Qualifications
- Skills in Software Development and Integration
- Experience in Consulting and Presales support
- Knowledge in technical Sales processes and customer engagement
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in managing projects and providing end-user support
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred
- Certification in relevant technical or industry standards is a plus
Required Knowledge
- 2 - 5 years of experience working with Microsoft 365 technologies
- Experience providing Tier II technical support
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellence written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
