Surface Mechanic A

**Tata Chemicals Soda Ash Partners LLC is seeking a Surface Mechanic A for its Green River, WY facility.**

• Job Duties:** Responsible for all repairs and services associated with the surface plant industrial equipment. Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant industrial equipment. Plate and pipe arc welding, pipefitting, mobile mechanic, layout and fabrication or machinist work. Provide constant evaluation of equipment condition and acceptable standards for mechanical maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems. Ensure compliance with relevant company health and safety policies and procedures, as well as government regulations.
• Hours per week:** 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next
• Work Schedule: **Rotating 12 hour shifts
• Education Requirement:** Associate degree, or foreign equivalent, in Industrial Maintenance Technology or a related field
• Experience Requirements:** Two (2) years of experience in each of the following:
• Welding, cutting and fabrication
• Utilizing mathematical calculations for rigging purposes
• Understanding product handling equipment and maintaining conveyor belts
• Maintenance for a continuous manufacturing or chemical processing industry
• Installing bearings, mechanicals seals, packing, and rebuild pumps, valves, and gearboxes
