What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Handler - 3rd Shift position at TASUS Corporation?
Job Purpose
- A Materials Handler is responsible for supplying raw material to the press and daily changeovers.
- Safely perform assigned tasks completely and efficiently. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Responsible for material change overs at the molding machine
- Responsible for maintaining and cleaning dryers, grinders and raw material area
- Maintain and correctly label the raw materials
- Assist production team on housekeeping of plant floor
- Operates forklift, pallet truck and other associated material handling equipment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in team environment and maintain positive attitude
- Ability to work in a safe manner and follow safety policies and procedures
- Good attention to detail
- Must be a self-starter and highly motivated
- Ability to plan and organize their schedule
- Manufacturing environment where Personal Protective Equipment is required.
- Eight hours shifts, mandatory overtime when required
- Standing for long periods of time
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally maneuver up to 1500 pounds with an assist.
- Must be able to frequently reach, bend, kneel, squat and climb.
