Machine Operator 2

Position Summary the Machine Operator in our Production department will be accountable to meeting daily and weekly production goals, while also meeting quality, accuracy, and safety objectives.

Relationships the Machine Operator will report directly to the Production Supervisor and will work closely with the Production Manager. In this role, the Machine Operator will also be working with the Graders, Stackers, Packers and Production Lead.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Technically compatible
• Pre-operation inspections
• Follow up quality inspection product, packaging, and finished goods
• Documenting pin code and target weight of packaging
• Monitoring graders, packers, and stackers
• Meeting change over standards during product, label, or case changes
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Leading team to meet 75% overall equipment efficiency
• Able to setup baggers and minor adjustments or settings on equipment
• Follow food and safety policies
• Training new hires on equipment and job functions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Able to work in a fast pace environment
• Being able to work well with a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Good problem-solving skills
• Candidate must have good attendance and excellent safety records

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
