About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Operator to join our team. As a Water Jet Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating water jet machines in a production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate water jet machines to produce high-quality products
- Program and operate waterjet with customer drawings and specifications
- Start and stop the machine, load/feed the machine, and monitor machines operation
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Meet or exceed customer's specifications as outlined on the manufacturing order
Requirements:
- Knowledge of machinery and/or tools
- Mechanical ability
- Auto CAD experience a plus
- Ability to work with manufacturing personnel to maintain product quality and consistent output
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs in a physical environment
- Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes
- Basic program reading skills using MS Windows applications
- Fundamental understanding of M and G codes
- Must be eighteen years of age and possess a HS Diploma or GED
