This role assists with site decommissioning, sampling, compliance activities, and environmental monitoring while working closely with project teams to ensure safe and effective execution.

The Environmental Technician supports oil & gas, construction, and remediation projects through hands-on environmental fieldwork. This role assists with site decommissioning, sampling, compliance activities, and environmental monitoring while working closely with project teams to ensure safe and effective execution.

What You’ll Be Doing Field Sampling & Environmental Support
- Conduct air, groundwater, and soil sampling
- Operate and maintain field monitoring and sampling equipment
- Collect and organize environmental data to support remediation strategies
- Assist with asbestos surveys, abatement activities, and waste management
- Support environmental assessments and reporting
- Follow all safety regulations, SOPs, and environmental guidelines
- Use required PPE and work safely on active job sites
- Communicate field observations or issues to project leadership
- Maintain clear, accurate field notes and documentation
- Assist with preparation of reports and environmental deliverables
- 0–3 years of experience in environmental testing, fieldwork, lab analysis, or related experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work safely on active construction or remediation sites
- Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions year‑round
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Experience in environmental remediation, oil & gas, or construction
- Familiarity with blueprints and environmental compliance protocols
- Environmental remediation experience
This position is 100% field‑based and includes:
Field Conditions
- Outdoor work in heat, cold, wind, and rain
- Travel to job sites within approximately a two‑hour radius
- Active construction and remediation environments
- Use of PPE and safety equipment
- Full-time
- Monday – Friday
- Overtime opportunities based on project needs
- Ability to pass a background check
