The Role
Tasman is seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist to lead and support remediation programs, groundwater treatment projects, and environmental site assessments.
This role combines field leadership, data analysis, regulatory compliance, client interaction, and mentorship. You’ll serve as a technical expert while guiding junior staff and ensuring high-quality project delivery.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Environmental Scientist, Engineer, or Geologist ready to take ownership of projects and make measurable environmental impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
Field & Technical Leadership
Lead environmental sampling programs (air, soil, groundwater)
Operate field equipment and oversee contractor activities
Coordinate site assessments and remediation system installations
Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze groundwater, soil, GPS, and air quality data
Prepare detailed technical reports, figures, maps, and analytical summaries
Develop actionable insights to guide remediation strategies
Provide expert recommendations to clients and stakeholders
Team Development & Project Oversight
Mentor and guide junior staff
Oversee field operations and ensure quality control
Manage deadlines across multiple active projects
Balance fieldwork and office-based responsibilities as needed
What You Bring
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Geology, or related field
8 years of environmental science, remediation, engineering, or geology experience
Strong environmental data analysis and interpretation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Proven experience overseeing field operations
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
Valid driver’s license
Ability to commute to or relocate to Wheat Ridge, CO
