About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-driven Customer Experience Associate to deliver an exceptional in-store experience. In this role, you’ll help guests explore furniture and décor options that reflect their style, provide expert guidance on home design, and build lasting customer relationships. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about design, sales, and creating beautiful living spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding service to every guest, ensuring a warm, professional, and engaging shopping experience.
- Accurately process sales orders, handle cash and credit transactions, and support financing applications.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns independently, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including daily checklists and cash reconciliation.
- Participate in inventory control and loss prevention activities, including regular audits and bi-annual inventory checks.
- Consistently meet and exceed sales targets, KPIs, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Collaborate with store leadership to execute merchandising plans, promotional setups, and operational initiatives.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing ideas and supporting process improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.; minimum age 18.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1 year of customer service or retail sales experience (home furnishings experience is a plus).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an outgoing, engaging personality.
- Ability to lift, tug, and pull up to 25 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliable attendance and a proactive, customer-first attitude.
