Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, and other established recipes with precision.
- Empanadas, breads and desserts with artistic flair, ensuring visual appeal matches taste quality.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, knives, and other baking tools.
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to food safety management practices and sanitation standards throughout your shift.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, assembling products, and portioning baked goods for high-volume production.
- Ensure consistent recipe adherence to uphold product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries about products and ensuring their experience is positive.
Experience
- Proven experience in food production, especially within the bakery or pastry sector.
- Strong skills in cake decorating, pastry preparation, and baking techniques.
- Prior kitchen experience in high-volume settings such as catering or restaurant environments.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory.
- Experience in food industry roles that require culinary expertise, knife skills, and attention to detail in food presentation.
