Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Certified Public Accountant, located on-site in the Greater Pittsburgh Region. The CPA will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records, ensuring that financial statements are accurate and comply with laws and regulations. Daily tasks include managing ledgers and journals (mostly via QuickBooks), month/quarter/year-end closing activities, tax planning and compliance, forecasting, and providing tax advice to clients. During tax season, the CPA is expected to prepare and review both business and individual returns as well.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of ledgers, month and year-end closing processes, and financial reporting
- Tax planning and compliance knowledge, including preparing and filing tax returns
- Skills in forecasting and financial analysis
- Ability to analyze financial data and provide accurate tax advice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Certified Public Accountant license
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in the finance or accounting industry is a plus
