Line Cook

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play an essential role in ensuring that our dishes meet the highest standards of taste and presentation, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and consistency.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies for meal preparation.
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure safety and cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service periods.
• Assist in the training of new kitchen staff as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage of food items.
• Participate in inventory management, including tracking supplies and reporting shortages.

Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably as a Line Cook or similar role.
• Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and food preparation methods.
• Knowledge of dietary restrictions and ability to prepare meals accordingly is a plus.
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in food handling are essential.
• Experience in fine dining or catering settings is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $18.97 - $20.00 per hour
