Essential Duties And Responsibilities
High school diploma.
Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
Two (2) years of related work experience.
Valid and current driver’s license may be required.
Experience in SAP and Excel a plus.
Good communications skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and operate standard and automated office equipment.
Proficient typing and computer use.
Knowledge of computer programs and ability to develop comprehensive spreadsheets.

While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, lift, push and pull.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Receives and screens telephone calls, letters, and visitors and refers to appropriate person or takes messages as needed. Answers routine questions and requests for information not requiring supervisor’s attention. Refers complex requests to appropriate staff members.
- Maintains records on all precinct operations manually and/or by using the current asset management software program to provide detailed records of equipment, job cost accounting, and inventory.
- Types and creates forms, memos, letters, reports, and graphical information including that of a technical and highly confidential nature as required.
- May track preventative maintenance scheduling on precinct equipment and assist in preparation of mechanics’ work schedules.
- Generates requisitions for department and processes invoices. May research and obtain quotes when needed. May process uniform requests and orders.
- Tracks fuel consumption and places orders as needed; gathers fuel distribution readings and collates data into report form. May visually inspect and keep records of State II vapor recovery system.
- Acts as back up in the absence of the Office Administrator and/or Business Manager.
- Creates and maintains spreadsheets for each account expenditure.
- May assign, monitor, and report on the work of others including community service volunteers.
- May retrieve and deliver documents and items.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
