Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Facilitates Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program orientations and develops recruitment materials
- Recruits assisted families for participation in the FSS program and facilitates the selection process
- Maintains complete and accurate participants records, escrow accounts and participant files
- Administers academic and career assessments as outlined in the FSS Action Plan
- Provides intensive case management and regularly updates service plan
- Documents and tracks all program services and participant progress in the FSS software
- Plans, schedules and/or facilitates workshops, job search activities, and other services as outlined in the FSS Action Plan. Develops workshop curricula and materials and secures workshop speakers
- Conducts HCV Section 8 recertification examinations and manages an assigned caseload
- Prepares program and performance reports and all FSS-related correspondence
- Calculates FSS escrow amounts based on the subsidy calculations/data, enters monthly escrow deposits including monthly interest as determined by the Auditor's office, into housing software
- Coordinates services and resources with community service providers and assists participants in securing community resources
- Audits participant files and FSS escrow balances for accuracy prior to payout
- Solicits program incentive awards from area businesses
- Monitors program participation and takes timely appropriate action for non-participation
- Maintains up-to-date participant records and case notes in the case management software system
- Performs all other related duties involved in the operation of the business as assigned or required
- Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Psychology, or related field.
- Two (2) full-time years of work experience in Housing.
- Minimum of two (2) full-time years of work experience in the administration of social service-related programs, case management, counseling and resource management.
- Valid driver's license required
