THE GENERAL MANAGER is responsible for the supervision and management of our batting cage, entertainment facility. You will be providing overall supervision and management of our daily operation, both at front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
Requirements
- 21 years of age.
- 4 years of hospitality experience, preferably in restaurant/entertainment.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
- Strong ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team - building a positive environment for both staff and customer.
- Ability to work weekends, nights and holidays.
- An interest in baseball/softball is appreciated (but not required)!
Essential Duties
- Cultivate a strategic team environment that provides exceptional customer service while directing management and staff to perform at a consistently high level.
- Assure proper execution of staff training programs.
- Assure staffing level is appropriate to meet the needs of the business and maximize customer experience.
- Select and develop team members for more responsibility and into management roles.
- Promote positive employee relations, including effective delegation of duties, fostering staff morale, upholding operation standards and execution of performance management process.
- Capitalize business opportunities in the market area by executing effective marketing strategies and community engagement.
- Responsible for all aspects of venue operation, including entertainment, equipment and property to facilitate the fulfillment of financial goals and company initiatives.
