Job Overview
The Architectural Draftsman is responsible for preliminary design of commercial buildings. They work closely with management staff regarding all aspects of the project. They also communicate regularly with drafting team, requesting support and taking direction as necessary to ensure successful project delivery. Salary will be commensurate with experience and education
- Skills
- Familiar with Architectural Drafting
- Must be familiar with Sketch Up and AutoCAD
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
- Math ability – Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Computer Skills – Basic computer skills needed.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
