Rental Desk & Customer Experience Associate
Full-Time | Starting at $15 per hour | 40 hours per week
Target World Academy has an immediate opening for a dependable, friendly, and safety-conscious Rental Desk & Customer Experience Associate. This position helps create a welcoming, organized, and professional experience for every range guest—from first-time shooters to experienced customers.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and assist with range check-in.
- Process waivers and assign range lanes.
- Help customers select rental firearms and range equipment.
- Explain rental procedures and basic range-safety expectations.
- Inspect, issue, receive, and secure rental firearms and equipment.
- Assist with eye protection, hearing protection, ammunition, targets, and related products.
- Operate the POS and customer check-in systems accurately.
- Maintain an organized and professional rental counter.
- Coordinate with Range Safety Officers and management.
- Help guests learn about training classes, memberships, and Academy services when appropriate.
- Follow all firearm-handling, security, and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Strong customer-service and communication skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and responsible.
- Calm and professional when the facility is busy.
- Comfortable working around firearms and range equipment.
- Able to follow detailed procedures consistently.
- Available for evening and weekend shifts as scheduled.
- Previous hospitality, retail, POS, range, firearms, or recreational-facility experience is preferred.
Firearms knowledge is helpful, but professionalism, dependability, sound judgment, and a willingness to learn are essential.
Work Location: In person at 2300 East Kemper Road, Sharonville, Ohio 45241.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
