Pay Range: $21.00-$25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday, daytime hours (no weekends or holidays)

Responsibilities

• Treat patients with excimer laser and nbUVB phototherapy while making educated and accurate dosing decisions
• Keep the work space(s) clean and orderly, restock the rooms as needed and make sure the room is sterilized for each patient
• Complete all notes accurately and in a timely manner, correct them as requested by supervisors and physicians
• Work with insurance to perform verification of benefits and/or prior authorizations on behalf of patients prior to starting treatments
• Maintain excellent charting skills, including all patient communication and progress notes
• Keep open communication with other employees in the department, especially regarding patient care
• Educate the patients about the process and the science regarding excimer laser and phototherapy
• Complete all open/close duties as required
• Manage patient treatment schedules as they change and work with scheduling staff to ensure proper bookings
• Remain flexible with schedule changes and fill in as needed

Requirements

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of customer service experience
  
  

Preferred Education And Experience

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree
• CNA or CMA certification
• 1-2 years of patient-facing experience preferred.
  
  

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a clinic setting.
• All to travel to all of our locations occasionally.
