We are looking for an experienced, relationship-focused professional who is confident performing advanced aesthetic treatments and excited to help us develop a Korean-inspired facial and skincare program.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of skin health, advanced treatment modalities, and personalized skincare. They do not need to be an established Korean skincare expert, but they should have a genuine interest in Korean skincare philosophies, ingredients, techniques, and treatment protocols.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape a new service line within an established dermatology practice while collaborating closely with physicians, clinical staff, and practice leadership.

Position Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced aesthetic treatments within the scope of an Oregon Advanced Esthetician license
  • Provide microneedling, IPL, chemical peels, and other approved advanced modalities
  • Conduct comprehensive aesthetic consultations
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on each patient’s skin, goals, and medical history
  • Educate patients about treatment preparation, aftercare, expected outcomes, and home skincare
  • Help develop a Korean-inspired facial and skincare service line
  • Research Korean skincare philosophies, techniques, ingredients, products, and treatment trends
  • Assist with creating facial protocols, service descriptions, pricing recommendations, and treatment plans
  • Recommend professional skincare products and customized home-care routines
  • Collaborate with dermatologists, cosmetic providers, medical assistants, and practice leadership
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
  • Follow all clinical, safety, sanitation, infection-control, and device protocols
  • Support patient education, practice events, skincare promotions, and marketing initiatives
  • Build long-term patient relationships through thoughtful, personalized care
  • Provide services at both the Beaverton and McMinnville clinics based on practice needs

Required Qualifications

  • Active Oregon Advanced Esthetician license in good standing
  • Appropriate education, training, and certification for all treatments performed
  • Experience with microneedling, IPL, chemical peels, and advanced aesthetic modalities
  • Strong understanding of skin anatomy, skin conditions, contraindications, and treatment planning
  • Knowledge of treatment preparation, aftercare, and complication prevention
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a physician-led medical environment
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Willingness and ability to work at both the Beaverton and McMinnville locations
  • Commitment to patient safety, education, and an exceptional patient experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in dermatology, plastic surgery, medical aesthetics, or a medical spa
  • Experience working with multiple skin types and a wide range of patient concerns
  • Interest in Korean skincare, facial techniques, ingredients, and treatment philosophies
  • Experience helping develop treatment protocols or launch a new service line
  • Knowledge of professional and physician-dispensed skincare
  • Experience supporting retail skincare recommendations and patient education
  • Comfort participating in educational events, community outreach, and practice marketing

The Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate is warm, knowledgeable, polished, and genuinely invested in helping patients feel comfortable and cared for. They understand that excellent aesthetic care is not only about performing a treatment. It is also about listening, educating, setting realistic expectations, and creating a thoughtful long-term plan.

This person should be excited to combine results-driven medical aesthetics with the layered, personalized approach found in Korean skincare. They should also be comfortable helping build something new, contributing ideas, testing protocols, and collaborating with the team as the program grows.
