Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or hotel rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
• Maintain floors through proper care techniques such as carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and sweeping to ensure safety and appearance.
• Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure rooms are fully equipped for guest comfort or resident needs.
• Follow sanitation protocols meticulously to prevent the spread of germs and maintain health standards across all areas.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or resident requests promptly and professionally.
• Assist with custodial tasks in common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and recreational spaces, ensuring they are tidy and inviting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or custodial roles; janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is highly valued.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and laundry procedures.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respond positively to guest or resident needs.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that require standing for long periods, bending, lifting heavy items, and performing repetitive motions.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management systems or protocols is a plus but not required.
• Certification in janitorial services or related fields can enhance your application.
