Responsibilities
- Supervise the food expo station and kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
- Coordinate with chefs, servers, and other staff to maintain smooth communication during service
- Oversee food preparation, plating, and presentation to meet quality standards and guest expectations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures at all times
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the service period
- Support banquet or special event setups by managing food staging and timely execution
- Foster a positive team environment by providing training, guidance, and motivation to staff members
Experience
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant management with a focus on kitchen operations
- Strong background in culinary arts, food preparation, and food handling techniques
- Previous banquet or large-scale event experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of hospitality standards, customer service excellence, and effective communication skills
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and sanitation practices in hotel or restaurant settings
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior supervisory experience leading kitchen or expo teams is preferred
