Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage food handling, sanitation, and safety standards in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a pristine environment
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for bills and tips
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, ideally in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale venues
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask effectively while managing time in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food industry standards including food preparation, serving techniques, and restaurant operations
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and contribute positively to team sales goals
