Position Summary
The QC Analyst I performs sampling, testing, and support activities in accordance with company standards and regulatory agency requirements. This includes working in one or more QC laboratories to support material and product testing and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct sampling and/or testing of incoming materials, finished products, and/or microbiological samples
- Participate in checking and releasing materials and products
- Perform routine analytical testing and sampling under established procedures
- Maintain compliance with cGMP regulations, Good Documentation Practices (GDPs), and internal policies
- Use analytical techniques and instrumentation with growing proficiency
- Work independently and in team settings to meet or exceed KPIs and QPIs
- Contribute to project tasks and continuous improvement efforts
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Comply with all Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines
- Report unsafe conditions, injuries, illnesses, or hazardous material releases
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Attend mandatory EHS training
- Follow all safe work procedures
- Adhere to Quality Compliance standards, including Data Integrity, QA, and QC
- Follow QMS policies and regulatory requirements
Education:
- High School diploma required
- Associate’s degree or higher in a Science-related field preferred
- Prior lab experience preferred (academic or industry)
- Basic science knowledge and cGMP familiarity required
- Recent graduates with lab coursework and understanding of lab practices encouraged to apply
- Experience doesn’t have to be on-the-job — educational lab experience is acceptable
