We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Coordinator/Payroll Manager to oversee our payroll operations and ensure accurate, timely processing of employee compensation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, knowledge of payroll systems, and expertise in compliance with federal and state regulations.

📍 Location: Philadelphia, United States

⏰ Work Mode: Hybrid (2 to 3 days)

What You'll Do

• Provides administrative support for the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care.
• Reporting to Associate Director of Finance Pulmonary Division
• Administrative and financial activities including preparing, maintaining, and managing salary/effort spreadsheets and
• All payroll transactions in Workday, running monthly reports, handling wayward transactions, creating and closing out purchase orders, placing orders for the division, allocating weekly purchasing card and billing transactions, and assisting faculty with travel reimbursements.
• Support the grants management team performing a variety of pre- and post- award activities.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Associate Degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 1 -3 years of Payroll processing experience.
• Strong financial management skills and excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
• Flexibility, strong problem-solving skills, strong organizational skills, and high level of attention to detail.
• Work independently under tight deadlines and can work in a dynamic work environment.
• Experience within a College or University setting, and sponsored projects experience desired.
