We're Hiring: Lab Technician
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Lab Technician to join our team and support critical laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with laboratory equipment, testing procedures, and quality control protocols to ensure accurate results and maintain high standards of laboratory excellence.

What You'll Do
- General laboratory housekeeping
- Cleaning of laboratory glassware and equipment
- Preparation of material for sterilization in QC Laboratory Autoclave
- Operation of QC equipment preparation and cleaning systems (e.g., Autoclaves, glasswashers)
- Maintenance and stocking of departmental consumable inventory
- Routine verification of operating parameters for temperature-controlled units
- Routine cleaning and maintenance of temperature-controlled units
- Set-up and disinfection of media, supplies, and equipment needed for testing
- Perform sampling of critical utilities systems (e.g., water, air, alcohol)
- Perform non-batch release testing (e.g., raw materials, environmental monitoring)
- Assist in filling and archiving departmental data, binders, reports, investigations
- Assist in retrieving samples from manufacturing areas for QC testing
- Maintenance and disposal of laboratory waste
- Receive, log, and aliquot samples in LIMS, EBM, and/or JDE
- Store and organize samples in Controlled Temperature Units / Environmental Chambers
- Enter data into LIMS
- Initiate and pull Stability Studies / Samples
What We're Looking For
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and in a timely fashion
- Must communicate effectively (verbal and written) with supervisors and peers
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment (autoclaves, incubators, analytical equipment)
- Must be able to read and follow detailed written instructions
- Knowledge of basic chemical and biological safety procedures
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Able to follow directions and identify when proper practices/procedures are not performed
- Must follow SOPs and generate accurate results
Physical/Environmental Requirements
- May lift, push, pull, carry up to 25 lbs
- May work in controlled environments requiring special gowning (head, face, hands, feet, body)
- May require hearing protection in loud areas
- Combination of sedentary work, standing, and walking
- May work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers (respiratory protection may be required)
- May be assigned different shifts or supplemental hours as needed
- May work in confined areas, primarily inside, including clean room and cool/hot storage conditions
