Spanish / World Language Teacher

Reports to: Principal
Responsibilities:
The High School Spanish/World Language Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in foreign languages and culture, fostering students’ proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Job Goal:
•Provide instructional programs that promote student’s development of skill and knowledge in the content area assigned.
•To help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their education
•To promote class environment favorable to learning and student’s personal growth
•To establish effective rapport with pupils to develop the skills, attitudes, and knowledge necessary to become successful individuals in accordance with each pupil’s ability
•To establish positive relationships with parents/ guardians and staff members
Qualifications:
•A teaching license issued by the State of Massachusetts appropriate for this content area and grade level 9-12 preferred
•Demonstrated expertise in specific instructional content area, as assigned
•Ability to work in a team environment
•Approved CORI and Fingerprinting results
Salary Range: $57,005.00 - $60,304.00
