Maintains confidentiality regarding all information related to school business, students health records, and any information related to the health office.Essential Functions: performs simple first aid care to students with minor injuriesassists in computerizing student health informationmaintains up-to-date emergency information for all students assists in screenings for students, including vision, hearing, scoliosis, head lice, height and weightprovides assistance in the registration process regarding health issues, as neededorganizes, copies, and distributes pertinent notices to staff, students and their familiesassists in preparation of health related activities for students and staffmaintains and organizes health office supplies, including ordering and restocking as requiredperforms diaper changes and provides toileting assistance for students when necessaryattend field trips as assignedtrains for delegation of administration of EpiPens and medications as neededperforms other duties as assignedAbility to: maintain confidentiality of student recordsmaintain cooperative, productive and flexible working relationship with students, staff and parentsmanage multiple taskssolve practical problems with students and staffprovide information and assistance to parents, the general public and other staff members in a helpful, courteous and timely mannerKnowledge of: effective use of computer and relevant software applicationssafe operation of school equipment necessary to successfully complete daily tasksinterpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy, including telephone etiquetteuniversal precautionsQualifications: evidence of ability to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
