The Radiology Nursing Care Technician performs basic nursing care and procedures under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Education: High School Diploma plus 1 year vocational school

Experience: One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.

Licenses and Certifications

  • HEALTHCARE PROVIDER (CPR)

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a practical nursing program or a student currently enrolled in a professional nursing program, or previous experience working with patients, or one quarter of clinical experience as a student nurse, or a successful completion of a nurse aide course, or experience from a related healthcare field preferred.
  • Will accept 2 years of related experience in lieu of vocational school.
  • BLS within 30 days of hire.
