opening at Katy Golf Club in Parsons, Kansas in Fall of 2026. We are

building something genuinely special for SE Kansas a scratch kitchen

rooted in local sourcing, real technique, and genuine hospitality in an

upscale, casual setting.

We are looking for a dishwasher who understands that clean dishes are

not a supporting role they are the foundation that every cook on the

line depends on to do their job. A great dishwasher is one of the most

valuable people in any kitchen, and we treat them that way.

• Position Overview:**The dishwasher at Ember & Oak is responsible for
  
  

keeping the kitchen running cleanly and efficiently throughout every

service. This is a physical, fast-paced role that requires hustle,

organization, and a team-first attitude.

Dishwasher Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwasher maintain proper sanitizer levels and
  
  

cycle temperatures

• Wash, sanitize, and organize all dishes, pots, pans, hotel pans, and
  
  

kitchen equipment

• Keep the dish station clean, organized, and flowing throughout
  
  

service no pileups

• Return clean dishes and equipment to proper locations promptly so
  
  

the line never runs short

• Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks as directed by the chef
• Take out trash, break down boxes, and maintain back-of-house
  
  

cleanliness

• Sweep and mop kitchen floors at the end of service
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Communicate with the line when running low on specific plates, pans,
  
  

or equipment

• Show up on time, every shift the kitchen depends on you
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Dishwasher Education And Qualifications

**YOU MUST HAVE**

• Reliability above everything be where you say you\'ll be
• Physical stamina this role is on your feet the entire shift
• A hustle mentality service does not slow down for a full dish pit
• Attention to cleanliness and sanitation
• A team-first attitude this kitchen wins together
• Positive energy good vibes matter in a kitchen
  
  

**NICE TO HAVE**

• Previous kitchen or dishwasher experience
• Basic food safety knowledge
• Interest in learning to cook or move into prep
• Ability to work at a fast and organized pace
• Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment
• A desire to grow within the operation
  
  

Dishwasher Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of Dishwasher, the employee is regularly

required to stand for extended periods of time; walk; sit; use hands to

finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and

arms; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or

smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision,

distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and

the ability to adjust focus.

Dishwasher Work Environment

While performing the duties of Dishwasher, the employee is exposed to

weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work

environment is usually moderate. Work involves exposure to hot surfaces

and sharp utensils. Weekend, evening, and holiday availability required.
