We're building something special at TangoTango — technology that helps first responders communicate faster and more effectively when it matters most. Our SaaS platform is purpose-built for public safety agencies and K-12 schools across North America, and we're growing fast.
We're looking for our next Account Executive to join the team — someone hungry, coachable, and ready to go all-in on a mission that genuinely matters.
You don't need to come in with a Rolodex full of police chiefs or a decade in government sales.Â
What we're really looking for is a proven sales mindset, a relentless work ethic, and the kind of person who earns trust quickly and doesn't quit when it gets hard. We'll invest in you — but we need you to invest in us.
What you'll do:
You'll own a territory and build it from the ground up — identifying and engaging police departments, fire services, emergency management agencies, and school districts. You'll develop relationships with decision-makers, navigate procurement processes, and close meaningful deals that put real technology in the hands of the people who protect our communities.
This is a field role. You'll travel (~25-50%), get in front of people, and do the work. If you thrive in a results-oriented environment and want your effort to directly drive your paycheck, you'll love the structure here.
What we're looking for:
- Some sales experience — B2B, SaaS, or any consultative selling environment is a plus, but we're open on the background
- A genuine drive to win and an even stronger drive to serve your customers well
- Strong communicator who can build rapport with everyone from front-line staff to senior leadership
- Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by building — this isn't a hand-you-a-territory role
- Curious about technology and eager to learn a specialized market
- A team player who takes the mission seriously
Bonus if you have experience in public safety, government, or selling to municipalities — but it's not a requirement. We can teach the industry. We can't teach hustle.
What we offer:
- Base salary: $70,000–$90,000 (based on experience)
- OTE: $150,000–$190,000 — with uncapped commissions paid monthly
