About the Opportunity:
- Assignment Length: 3 months
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 5pm
- Setting: Onsite (5 days a week)
Responsibilities:
- Work within JD Edwards (JDE) to verify and update accounting codes
- Review and correct mark-ups, costs, and other financial data entries
- Post journal entries and assist with preliminary accounting tasks
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial data across systems
- Support month-end close activities through data validation and entry
- Respond to internal inquiries with timely and accurate information
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- 2 years of Accounting or Bookkeeping experience
- Strong attention to detail and data verification skills
- Experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Sage, Oracle, PeopleSoft)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Comfortable in a task-oriented, quiet work environment
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with Journal Entries and General Ledger processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
