General Position Overview:We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be able to thrive in a small office environment. He or She will be extremely detailed oriented, hands-on, and willing to pitch in when needed. We need someone who will be able to work with the Operations Leadership as well as the Accounting Manager to ensure all month end deadlines are achieved. General Accountabilities include:Record all banking transactions, including corresponding due to/due fromPrepare and deposit all incoming checks and ACHsReconcile transactions between RoadSync and pallet depositsReconciliation of bank accounts and credit card transactions Audit Accounts Payable entryProvide detailed analyses and explanations of transactionsReview and Audit Sales & Use Tax filings and 1099’sFollow our company’s established accounting processesPrepare documentation for external auditorsOther general accounting and office duties as assigned Skills Required:Degree in Accounting or Finance2 years’ experience in an accounting departmentAbility to create and edit Excel Spreadsheets and knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExceptional organization and analytical skillsExcellent attention to detailAbility to meet all assigned deadlinesFamiliarity with accounting software programs, preference for Great PlainsWillingness to establish and maintain effective working relationshipsMonday - Friday 7am - 4pm
