A health services organization in Central New York is actively seeking a new Social Worker to work at one of its rehabilitation facilities in Cayuga County.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 4pm
- Setting: Forensic Mental Health
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in providing therapeutic services and completing mental health assessments
- Completing documentation as required by policy and procedure
- Facilitating group sessions
- Providing crisis intervention and discharge planning
- Developing and monitoring treatment plans with individuals and the treatment team
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work
- Prior experience with Mental Health populations
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Resilience and adaptability
Desired Skills:
- Master's Degree in Social Work
- LMSW or LCSW certification
- Experience in a Corrections setting
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)
Salary : $30 - $35
