A healthcare facility in the Bronx, NY is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse for an outpatient role, working with clients experiencing substance use disorders and mental health challenges.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm
Responsibilities:
- Administering injections and performing blood draws
- Conducting medical assessments and questionnaires
- Monitoring vitals and performing physical exams
- Providing patient care and managing treatment plans
- Working with court-mandated clients
Qualifications:
- 1 year of Nursing experience in a Substance Use Disorder and/or Mental Health setting
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR
- Experience with diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of Medical terminology
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience with Crisis Management techniques
- Experience with Substance Abuse Treatment programs
Salary : $50 - $58
