A health services network New York is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing Ambulatory Surgery team at one of their facilities in Hamilton County.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Per diem coverage on specific dates
- Hours: 7am to 3pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Setting: Ambulatory Surgery
Responsibilities:
- Providing nursing care using assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Coordinating care with providers and other healthcare team members
- Administering medications and IV solutions
- Coordinating patient schedules
- Managing IVs and Venous Access Ports (VAP)
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Active NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification
- Experience with high-acuity orthopedic procedures
- Prior EMR experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Good communication skills
- Able to work independently
Desired Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of Ambulatory Surgery experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- ACLS and PALS certifications
- Experience with Endoscopy procedures
- Prior experience in EMR experience
Salary : $65 - $70
