Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and guests, manage patient flow, and support a positive waiting room experience
- Handle check-in, check-out, registration, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communications
- Provide clinical support under RN/LPN supervision, including vitals, phlebotomy, EKGs, specimen collection, and assisting with procedures
- Document patient information and care in the EMR, scan documents, and ensure records and lab results are completed accurately
- Coordinate referrals, outreach, reminder calls, and day-to-day administrative tasks in support of the care team
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant (MA)
- High School Diploma / GED
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant (MA) or eligibility to sit for the national certification exam and pass within 18 months of hire
- Experience navigating an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Working knowledge of Epic EMRs
Salary : $20 - $22
