An established health system is seeking a Heart Failure Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Morristown, New Jersey. This inpatient role offers the chance to provide heart failure consult coverage, procedural support, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary academic team.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday through Friday with one weekend of call per month
- Hours: Standard business hours
- Setting: Inpatient
Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient heart failure consult service
- Perform approximately one to two procedure days per week
- Manage approximately three to four consult days per week
- Participate in supervision and teaching of fellows
- Collaborate with the heart failure team and multidisciplinary support staff
Qualifications:
- Board certification in Cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure
- Active New Jersey medical license
- Active CDS and DEA registration
- Experience working in an academic environment with fellows
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Epic electronic medical records
- Prior locum tenens experience
- Background in heart failure program leadership or team-based specialty care
Salary : $375 - $450
