A nonprofit services organization in New York City is looking to add a new Government Grants Contracts Consultant to their team. In this role, the Government Grants Contracts Consultant will play a critical role in managing financial and administrative processes related to grants and contracts.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date:ASAP
- Assignment Length:3 months
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed budgets using Excel for grants and contracts
- Assist with preparing proposals and reports for government funders.
- Prepare administrative documents for new contracts and contract renewals.
- Track contract deliverables and maintain organized records.
- Manage requests for insurance certificates and ensure timely submission
- Coordinate document signing, submission to funders, and tracking of all related paperwork
- Ensure compliance with organizational and funder requirements
- Manage Corporate compliance documents
- Perform various administrative tasks, including document management and internal coordination
- Support cross-functional teams to meet deadlines for proposals and reporting
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in Budget Management and/or Grants/Contract Administration
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Financial Reporting
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of Government Funding requirements and Compliance standards
- Experience with Insurance Certificate Management and Contract Tracking Systems
- Previous experience in a Nonprofit role/setting
- Passport & Accelerator experience
Salary : $50 - $60
