Emergency Medicine Physician (Locums)
A leading healthcare system is actively seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locums coverage. The Emergency Physician will deliver high-quality care to patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries in a hospital Emergency Department.
About the Opportunity
- Schedule: Full-time or shift-based; days, nights, and weekends possible
- Specialty: Emergency Medicine
Key Responsibilities
- Perform rapid assessments and stabilize critically ill or injured patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Perform emergency procedures (airway management, suturing, central lines, etc.).
- Collaborate with specialists and nursing staff to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR.
Qualifications
- Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Licensure: Active and unrestricted license in the state of practice.
- Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
- Preferred: Experience in high-volume ED or trauma center.
Salary : $250 - $300
