Breast Imaging Radiologist

A clinically integrated network is actively seeking a licensed Breast Imaging Radiologist to join their growing team in New Jersey.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday standard business hours
• Call: No call or weekends
• Setting: Outpatient imaging center or hospital

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and interpret various breast imaging studies, including mammograms, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and other specialized breast imaging techniques
• Meet with patients to discuss their imaging results, explain any findings, and answer questions
• Perform or supervise minimally invasive procedures, such as breast biopsies
• Ensure quality and accuracy of breast imaging procedures
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of breast imaging services within their department or institution
• Collaborate with Breast Surgeons, Oncologists, and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with breast conditions or breast cancer

Qualifications:

• Unrestricted NJ medical license
• Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Radiology Residency and fellowship in Breast Imaging
• Board Certified/Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
