About the Opportunity:

- Hours: 37.5 hours per week or Part Time available 10 hours/week

Responsibilities:
The Behavioral Intervention Specialist (BIS) will be responsible for:
- Developing functional behavioral assessments and support plans
- Providing individual and group counseling
- Presenting psychotropic medications to the Human Rights Committee
- Training staff in behavior support plan implementation
- Referring individuals for psychiatric and psychological care
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in BIS fieldwork
- Master's degree in psychology or related field
- BCBA certification is a plus
- Strong assessment and behavior support development skills
- Proficient in EMR systems, specifically PrecisionCare
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel within the metropolitan area
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Empathy and professionalism
Desired Skills:
- 5 years of experience with IDD individuals
- BCBA certification
- Advanced skills in psychological assessments
- Expertise in behavior support plan training
- Strong interpersonal skills
