- Define and execute the organization’s enterprise cloud strategy, ensuring alignment with business and technology objectives.
- Establish and maintain cloud governance frameworks, security policies, and operational best practices to optimize performance, cost efficiency, and compliance.
- Provide leadership in evaluating and adopting emerging cloud technologies and trends.
- Oversee the design, deployment, and ongoing management of resilient, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
- Direct cloud incident management, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning, ensuring rapid response and minimal downtime.
- Drive the implementation of automation, monitoring, and alerting to ensure smooth and proactive cloud operations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of cloud engineers, administrators, and operations staff across onshore and offshore locations.
- Foster strong cross-functional partnerships with application, data, and security teams to enable rapid, reliable product delivery.
- Promote a DevOps mindset, integrating infrastructure-as-code (IaC), CI/CD, and containerization into daily operations.
- Implement cost-control measures, monitor cloud consumption, and identify opportunities for efficiency and savings.
- Collaborate with finance and business leaders to forecast, track, and report on cloud expenditure.
- Partners with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (HIPAA, HITRUST, etc.).
- Lead vulnerability management, risk assessments, and incident response efforts in the cloud environment.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, containerization (e.g., Kubernetes), Infrastructure as code (IaC) and DevOps practices.
- Customer-service oriented; responsive and respectful to colleagues, clients, patients, and providers.
