We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our dedicated team. If you're passionate about precision, quality, and continuous improvement, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
As a Quality Control Inspector, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all parts and assemblies meet strict industry and customer requirements through rigorous inspection and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections (receiving, in-process, final) for precision machined parts and sub-assemblies
- Use precision measurement tools: calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, CMM, optical comparators, and others
- Read and interpret technical blueprints with strong understanding of GD&T
- Generate AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) reports
- Review and verify shipment readiness, including documentation compliance
- Initiate and document Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective Action Requests (CARs) as needed
- Coordinate customer and government source inspections
- Maintain accurate inspection records and update ERP system (experience with E2 is a plus)
- Assist in managing the gage tracking and calibration system
What You Bring
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of hands-on inspection experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment
- Familiarity with AS9100 / AS9102 standards and contract flow-down requirements
Preferred Skills
- Advanced blueprint reading with GD&T fluency
- Strong working knowledge of measurement instruments
- Experience working with tight tolerances and high-spec components
- Strong math skills (machine shop math preferred)
- ERP software experience (E2 or similar)
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $20 – $25 per hour (depends on experience)
