Delivery Associate

Tampa Delivery Service, LLC is actively recruiting Full-Time and Part-Time Delivery Associates for our delivery operations in the Lutz/Land O’ Lakes area. Potential Delivery Associates must be familiar utilizing smart phone technology, be Safe drivers and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment. Personal accountability, problem solving skills, and a team-oriented attitude are key components to being successful in this position as you will be working both independently and in tandem with other associates to complete routes in an accurate and efficient manner.

Delivery Associates will be required to attend additional paid training in the first month in order to qualify to drive a large 26 ft step van.

Drivers are responsible for safely and effectively completing delivery routes in an accurate and efficient manner.
Starting pay for drivers is $21/hour, with Step van drivers making a shift differential $1.50/hour more. Overtime hours available at 1.5x normal rate.
Health benefits and PTO available for Full Time employees after 30-Day probationary period.
Bonus compensation available for Delivery Associates that excel in Safety, Efficiency, and Customer Service.
A 30-minute lunch break, as well as two 15-minute breaks allotted during a full day.
All delivery routes are engineered to be completed in 10 hours or less. Work shifts will begin at 10:50am.
Attendance and on-time arrival for the start of each shift is crucial. If you are/were frequently late in previous positions, you will not succeed.
Paid Classroom-style training and some online based videos will be required before drivers will be allowed to make deliveries on their own.

1 year of package delivery or similar experience is preferred.
DOT Medical Card preffered

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess valid FLORIDA driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a background check and motor vehicle background check.
• Must be able to pass a 5 panel drug screen.
• Must possess/be willing to obtain a valid DOT Medical Card.
• Willing to safely drive and operate a DOT Regulated Vehicle (26')
• Be able to get in and out of a vehicle and climb stairs many times a day.
• Ability to pick up and deliver small to medium packages, up to 50 lbs., repeatedly.
• Must have open availability including weekends.
