Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of office spaces, restrooms, lobbies, hallways, and other common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
• Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and floor buffing to ensure spotless surfaces.
• Operate floor buffers and other specialized cleaning machinery to maintain high-quality floor care standards.
• Follow strict safety protocols when handling chemical agents and cleaning equipment to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Conduct routine sanitation procedures to uphold hygiene standards in all areas of the facility.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs, custodial upkeep, and basic painting as needed.
• Support heavy lifting activities using proper safe lifting practices during the movement of supplies or equipment.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial roles with a strong understanding of janitorial processes.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely following safety protocol guidelines and handling safety procedures.
• Skilled in operating cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other machinery essential for comprehensive floor care.
• Excellent manual handling skills with a focus on safe lifting practices to prevent injury during heavy lifting tasks.
• Strong customer service orientation to ensure a positive experience for clients and facility users.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and facilities maintenance best practices.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
