About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented team member to join a dedicated 4-person cleaning crew operating in a school setting. In this role, you will work collaboratively with your team to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for students, teachers, and staff. Open communication and accountability are central to how our team succeeds every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Waste Management: Empty and dispose of trash and recycling throughout classrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas daily.
• Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with your 3 crewmates, maintaining open, proactive communication to coordinate tasks and cover areas efficiently.
• Restocking Supplies: Ensure all restrooms, hand-washing stations, and custodial closets are fully restocked with essential supplies (paper towels, soap, toilet tissue) daily.
• Quality Assurance: Take clear photos of completed work areas at the end of shifts for quality verification and reporting.
• General Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and wiping down high-touch surfaces.
• Safety Protocols: Safely handle cleaning products and equipment while following established health standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in commercial, custodial, or institutional cleaning preferred but not required.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a 4-person team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with using a smartphone or tablet to capture and upload photos of finished work.
• Strong physical stamina, including the ability to lift, bend, stand, and handle routine manual labor.
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygienic standards.

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
