Job Summary:

The Bowling Representative team member is responsible for customer service in the Starlight Lanes Bowling Center.  This team member provides the customers with lane assignments; makes sure they are fitted appropriately for their shoes, and handles lane response questions.

Responsibilities: 

·         Greets customers in a timely manner.

·         Answers general bowling center inquiries received on the telephone or within the bowling center, and directs other inquiries to the appropriate departmental person.

·         Collects customer fees for bowling services rendered.

·         Operates cash registers and/or credit card machines, and adding machines.

·         Complies with all policies and procedures to include safety regulations of the bowling center.

·         Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements: 

·         Preference is given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal Members.

·         High School Diploma or GED.

·         General knowledge of bowling.

·         One-year customer service experience.

·         Display strong verbal and written communication skills.

·         A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required. If a smartphone is not provided by the company, a candidate or employee may be provided a smartphone of the company’s choice, through a payroll deduction program.

·         All employees are required to proficiently use a smartphone for company applications, email, and text.

·         Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming and Regulatory Commission non-gaming license.

·         Must be able to work various hours, as needed, including weekends and holidays.

·         Must be able to work at a fast pace.

·         Must be able to handle stress effectively.

·         Must be able to maneuver around the Bowling Center, as needed, to collect and distribute all necessary materials and communication.

·         Physical ability to safely perform the essential job functions of the position.
