Job Overview Idaho Impressions is seeking a friendly, dependable, and professional Art Gallery Attendant to provide exceptional customer service to our guests. This role is ideal for someone with a love of art and retail experience. The attendant will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, assisting with inquiries, sales, and maintaining the welcoming atmosphere of our space. Responsibilities Greet and engage guests in a warm and professional manner Assist customers with purchases, including operating the POS system and processing transactions Provide information about featured artists and artworks on display Monitor the gallery to ensure a secure and respectful environment Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gallery space Restock merchandise and manage inventory as needed Support gallery events and openings as needed   Qualifications Prior retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working independently Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance Interest in or appreciation for art is a plus Basic computer and POS system proficiency All other duties assigned based on the needs of the business and season LANGUAGE SKILLS:  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret art manifestos.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests and managers.   REASONING ABILITY:  Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.   PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.    Continuous standing.  Frequent bending/stooping, kneeling, pushing and pulling objects with and without wheels, squatting, and twisting and turning from the waist.  Frequent work with hands and fingers.  Possible lifting and moving objects weighing up to 75 lbs.   Near and far vision as well as good depth perception, peripheral vision and color vision are important.  There is a continuous need to hear and talk in quiet and noisy surroundings.  Continuous use of the senses.      WORK ENVIRONMENT:  The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Days off can be requested but are not guaranteed.
