Tamarack Geological Services is staffing a contract Core Logger in Idaho!
This is a hands-on role with core logging, sampling, and data management on a live exploration program. Per diem and mobilization reimbursement provided.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
────────────────────────
Core Preparation
Load and prep drill core; measure magnetic susceptibility and hyperspectral mineralogy; photograph core boxes
Geological Logging
Detailed digital logs of core and RC chips in acQuire — lithology, alteration, mineralization, and structural data
QA/QC & Sampling
Insert QA/QC samples, cut core, bag and bin samples, stage for lab pickup, track and inventory
Core Shed & Equipment
Maintain core shed efficiency; transport core pallets using telehandler/forklift; keep laydown yard organized
Data Management
Upload and organize logging data; data entry, scanning, digitization, and database organization

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Geology
- 1-3 years of relevant mining or exploration experience
- MSHA Certification (reimbursed)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred:
- acQuire software experience
- Leapfrog familiarity
- Telehandler or forklift operation
