About the Role

We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented Fleet Commander to take the helm of our professional driver fleet. In this role, you will be the core engine driving our day-to-day logistics, ensuring our trucks and trailers are optimized, our drivers are supported, and our freight moves seamlessly.
What You’ll Do
Be the Go-To Leader: Serve as the direct point of contact, mentor, and leader for your dedicated fleet of professional drivers.
Communicate Like a Pro: Keep drivers aligned and updated via phone, email, and messaging with fast, clear, and decisive answers.
Plan the Miles: Efficiently manage lanes, dispatch preplans, and secure critical load commitments on time.
Track Dispatch to Drop-Off: Monitor every delivery end-to-end to maintain our high standard of on-time reliability.
Manage Schedules Like a Boss: Balance driver availability, personal preferences, and hours-of-service (HOS) logs to maximize fleet capacity.
Coach and Support: Actively support driver performance, safety compliance, and retention goals every single day.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with our internal teams (Safety, Maintenance, and Payroll) to keep operations running perfectly.
Build Lasting Relationships: Foster a culture of mutual respect and pride with your drivers and team members.

What You Bring to the Table
High school diploma or equivalent (A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is a big plus)
Strong multitasking skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, technology-driven transportation environment.
Excellent communication, conflict-resolution, and coaching abilities.
An organized, analytical mindset, ready to lead with energy and confidence.
Familiarity with OTR routing, electronic logging devices (ELDs), or modern fleet telematics is highly preferred.
